I worked at AllTrips with a lovely team of coworkers for six and a half years and wore many hats. Among other things, I was charged with rebranding the company, building a weather reporting system, designing a packages management tool and display (pictured above), and bringing the overall AllTrips network into a more content focused and user-friendly experience.

The Sites

Jacksonholenet is just an example of one of the forty-plus websites I managed while with AllTrips.

Personas

We had the chance to dive into user personas and conduct user research both with the vendors and the visitors to the site. It was fun to learn about the diverse folks who depend on the AllTrips network and create their character representations.

Infographics

Another result of our user research was a series of infographics that were a great tangible way to unite the AllTrips team around the company goals and embrace all the challenges we were trying to solve.

Fairshare was a ReactJS/Redux App that I built with four other classmates from MakerSquare in Austin. It was a chance for us to put our newly polished javascript skills together and build something from the ground up. Our backend is Node and Express tied into a PostgreSQL database and the front end is React & Redux (as previously mentioned!).

BabbleTree is a simple and enjoyable program for early childhood second language acquisition created by Margi Japel.

Margi came to me with a loose plan and a whole lot of content. It took some iterating but we came up with a fun and playful site for BabbleTree.

Clinica offers comprehensive primary care to residents of South Boulder, Broomfield and West Adams counties. My job for Clinica was strictly a rebranding with a few small functionality additions. It was a quick 'n fun project.

Jenny Carr Health

Jenny specializes in removing inflammation from the body through clean eating, movement & elegant thinking. She came to me with a bit of a problem after taking the bull by the horns and building several sites for her budding business. She needed a way to tie the brand together and consolidate the web properties she had created. After a brief conversation, we were able to come up with a design that solved the problem and fit her budget.

Over the years I've had my fingers in everything from logo and t-shirt design to newspaper cover illustration, splash pages to travel package management systems. At the moment my passion lies in Javascript and the challenges of UX design. I can't wait for the next project!
